Buying a gun on line is simple. The Sportsman's Bag is an FFL holder. This means we have been approved by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms (ATF) and they have issued us a Federal Firearms License (FFL). We abide by all state and local laws in regards to the sell of firearms on line. You must be 21 years of age to purchase a firearms from The Sportsman's Bag. See our Policies
So what are the steps...
- Make your selection from our on line gun store.
- At checkout you will be presented with our extensive list of all FFL holders in your area. Most other companies make you do this leg work in advance but we have already done this for you and you simply choose the FFL holder most convenient to you.
- We will then contact your chosen FFL holder and arrange the transfer of your gun to them. This requires the FFL to send us a copy of their FFL for verification.
- Your gun then ships to the chosen FFL holder.
- It is then up to you and the chosen FFL holder to arrange the pick up of your gun. Be advised that most FFL holders charge a small fee for this service ($20-$45). You as the customer are responsible for these fees.
